About our release forms

 

Dear customers,

 

We are asking you to read and sign the release form before joining us on a trip. Signing this form is an insurance requirment, which must be completed before joining any Tatshenshini Expediting LTD trips or courses.

 

The release form is an acknowledgement of risks. Some risks are inherent to the activities, and not all of them are listed in the release form. For those risks which are inherent to the activities, the clients/guests of Tatshenshini Expediting LTD must provide their own insurance and release Tatshenshini Expediting, its guides and representatives harmless from any and all liability.

 

Tatshenshini Expediting LTD has an excelent safety record. We have never been sued, never had an insurance claim, and never had an evacuation. Since we started operating in1982 our incident reports consist of only minor injuries.

 

The reality, statistically proven, is that rafting and hiking are a lot safer than driving or fishing. Our exceptional safety record is due to the time we spend educating our guests and the training of our guides.

 

A release form is part of educating our guests to make them clearly understand the risks of any trips.
